Course Description:
This 2 day certification course presented by ELITE Aesthetic Medical Training will teach participants how to establish a very unique and effective weight loss program. In many cases, a weight loss program that really works can be a tremendous adjunct to one's practice. Your patients/clients may need to lose weight to prevent metabolic diseases, osteoarthritis, back pain, weight-related medical conditions, and/or obtain the non-invasive or surgical cosmetic procedures you offer only in conjunction with weight loss. The instructor will uncover the common flaws of today's popular diets and weight loss programs, and identify the keys to a successful program. Causes and treatment of obesity are discussesd in detail, including surgery, common medications, supplements, exercise, behavior modification and more. The design of a ‘sensible' weight loss program for your patients/clients requires objective measurements, a correct assessment, individualization, the ability to monitor progress and modify the plan of action when indicated, skills to achieve compliance (psychology & behavior patterns), and the ability to also contour and shape the client's body (firm the skin). This trainingwas especially designed for physicians and other health care providers to implement in their clinical setting.
